I did a trip to the Grampians over the weekend. Nice trip and all but I calculated the vr4 was doing something like 13.5L/100km. :shock:
I thought it was a bit less than that for h/w driving.
My fuel trims were rich:
FTL: 137%
FTM: 120%
FTH: 120%
Other contributing factors/notes:
The previous owner has cut away the entire lower section of the AFM.
They have also chipped the car to zero knock count on lift of accelerator
There was no knock at all while cruzing.
There was some knock whenever I slowed down to go through a town.
It was using 98 octane (shell?) petrol
Does any one have any ideas why it would have poor fuel economy?
