Does anyone know if Fujitsubo makes exhaust for CC lancer gsrs or evos..?

And if they do, where from..?

Cheers Peter

yeah they do, meek has a cat back at his shop atm. I think he's running one on his car now. Looks and sounds awesome! Hehe :)

i think they make for cc gsr and evo too ... i use to have the full system on my integra type r dc5 ... soud good ... very quiet tho ..

Yes they do make them CD5 / 9a CE9a

I have one on the Libero as it was the only company that made a quality exhaust for the CD5W bloody quite just the way I like it so keeps the popo at bay I've had a DB test done on mine and it was 1.4db below the legal standard The was done at RTA botany. Its a quality bit of kit that's for sure.

all the stats are here http://www.fujitsubo.co.jp/product01.php?no=790-32031&reno=00000000000000002223
Negun list them Musecret also in Sydney do them and are very competitive on price so check them out.

I got mine from Japan when the dollar was around the 87 mark and all up delivered was 1100
so they would be more now as the Au is around the 50-60cent mark

They come up second hand every now and then for around the 6-700 mark

When I had these exhausts I noted that the inside of the muffler was not 3 inches. Probably close to 2.5

yes, its how they tune the exhaust, the piping us usually 2.75" or 3" for the Jap cat backs, but they put reducers in the mufflers to bring the exhaust levels down. but not enough to kill power...

thanks guys..

yeah my mate has a power getter in his dc5r.. nice and quiet.. and sounds nice..

is the one at meek brand new..?

liberoz i have an apexi catback atm, but after hearing the fujitsubo, i want one.

So these exhaust sytems have been "tuned" and dynoed to give proven power gains then?
Would you not also get a good gain from just putting a 3 inch catcback of any mandrel bent construction on a car...given its turbo...?

Yeah the ones at meek are brand new... there is a few months wait on a legalis r cause they have to get it in.

so p3akin and I want fuji exhausts.. anyone else keen? I might ring around and see if i can get a mini group buy going with someone??

supply out of Japan is slowing down bigtime, so is production, so don't be surprised that ordering one now, is more expensive.

completely differnt as its one diameter all the way which introduces less back pressure.

Fujitsubo (& other Jap tuning house brands) starts the oem cat size and goes up. Start with 2.5 and mates up with the factory oem cat flange and pipe size then goes up a size bigger(2"'s from the cat) then after resonator goes bigger again, On mine I have a mid muffler goes in one size and steps up bigger coming out, and same with the rear muffler.
This creates greater pressure losses the futher it goes to the tip creating small gradual flow rate increases to the tip.

I think there's more of an art the way Japs tune there exhaust designs ;) Every owner I know that has one, swears by its quietness, as well as its nice purrr it gives without comprimizing on performance and staying well under the Db limit
