fuse keep burning

hey guys

need some help here!

my wiper fuse keep buring up... i have replaced 3 of them already.

What could be the problem?

ps i recently installed an amp and sub in the car

Hmmm shouldnt be an issue with the wiper wiring unless you have wired in your stereo to the positive wire under the dash that powers the wipers when you put the key to accessories.

Another test you can try is to put in a new fuse but unplug the wiper motor from inside the engine bay and drive around for a few days with the wiper motor unplugged. If it shorts out then you know the problem is in your wiring and not the motor. If its fine until you plug your wiper motor back in then you know the wiper motor is fukd.

If you still cant figure it out thats what auto eleccy's are for

it must be shorting out somewhere, run along the wire and look for any exposed wire that might be touching some part of the body or another piece of wire.
Shorts do your head in!!

first check the sterio wiring make sure that all wires are covered (i had a similar problem when my dimmer switch wire wasnt covered and was blowing random fuses. then disconnect ur wiper motor and try turn it by hand if it is siezed then it will blow fuses after a while because it will draw more power to try turn over the motor. when it cant fuse becomes weakest part of the circuit.
