Help Support 4GTuner:

lol baz stop ripping off galantvr4.org

i've got my speakers up there, and i like em there, so i'm a no

i dont need them

i just think it'll be fun making em..

nah, i was just think if anybody was interested ill get em made

gvr4.org are LHD, so we cant use em..

i might make solid ones to block off my speaker holes.. just for looks
lol

if you were hardcore, you'd rip your dash out, make a mould, and install a fibreglass one

thats what a lot of the jap circuit/drift cars have

extreme weight loss!

its a pretty good idea, would be good if my car didn't have speakers there and a gauge mounted in that area anyway

making a template for the outer part
place gauge pods o nthem, moulding the shape with some fabric
resin
fibreglass
sand
repeat until perfect
paint

not moving speakers to the doors as i will be putting some 6" splits in the door so i wont have room, the 4" are good where they are

if your putting 6", there will be no need for 4"

best setup is to have the tweeters up where the 4"'s are..

true aye, i will see how it sounds with and then without, and make my decision regaurding the pod and the speakers at the same time

well if anyone is interested..
i dont mind having a go..
just wondering what it'll cost for all the materials and labour..

baz mate, i will be interested, gonna get rid of the 4" speakers and probably put an oil pressure gauge in there with the boost gauge

just on the design side of things, why not get the dimensions from the guy that owns it, and then just invert it. that would save you some time and moolar

pod thingo's...

hey that looks the goods...
i was in the process of getting a friend to make up a bit of flat carbon fibre reinforced.. and just bolting a cup onto it..

let me know how you go...
:D

i would buy one, i like it, when finished off properly it would look very neat and almost "factory". I am in if these go ahead :D
