gauge pod

Hi all, ive seen the steering column gauge pods for evo 7-9. I was wondering if anybody knows if you can get them for evo 1-3 or gsr..?? Or any other good mounting systems for gauges in them..

Yes I looked into these recently. I couldn't find anything for Evo I-III, not surprising as most of the suppliers for the Evo VII-X are from the States and they didn't get the cars.

The work around I did was to buy one of the Defi-like singe gauge pods, file a small slot in the top of the column surround and mount it from underneath. That way it sits flush with the top of the surround.

Think hes meaning the steering column mount bud, but thanks for dobbing jack in, been looking for another 1 so hopefully hes still trying to rehome it

I cant remember what I wanted for it... will be in the for sale thread somewhere. Im on phone.
Its brand new, and probably would sikaflex it in place on a pillar
Im going to evoscan and probably the android thing that goes with it so wont need gauges with that.

I dont need 1 now, someone saw my post an we settled on a swap for a 6 pack,
an yea that android thing looks a go-er, thats my plan for the 5, an eventually the gsr too

Im thinking to pull out the gauges and mount it in there where the dash is. But I havent even measured it up yet.

Yea, im unsure of dimensions cos I wont need it till after xmas so havnt really looked into details but was hoping to lose the dvd in the GSR an use the 2 spaces, or possibly an more hopefully use the dvd screen as the display, but being my daily I need to keep mine road legal as possible (Nana state)
although I do wanna put a w/b in one cup an the avc-r slotted in one (if it fits)

Try source it here www.mudah.my . Malaysian site, steering panel gauge holder still good to use. Panel pod selling in Malaysia always cause you annoying sound due to poor fitting bracket mount on the pod.
