Hi all thought i better say hi, been online here for a month or so and been doing alot of reading.
Ill give you all a run down on may car and thought process.
Picked up a J-spec a month or two ago.
Came over here 3 yrs with 44K's (id believe it to) on the clock, as a grade 4 import stock. So shes quite a gem
I bought it with only 63K's.
Previous owner fitted G4 coil overs,
Exeddy clutch,
GFB adjustable bov,
3 inch turbo back echaust.
And a genuine rs bonet. Very niiiice!!!!
Nice tasteful modds, its a sweet, sweet virgin.
I plan to continue with tastful modds.
First round modds, ive got a 'Razza' (good bloke) chiped ecu in the post and 055 afm, just finalising 510 injectors. To free up my intake and hopefully tuning gains. All set up for later to...
And got a hks boost gauge, which i now need to mount on my pillar.
I been reading up on ways to do my intake, considering magna air box, dunno if the pannel filter will do tho. Dont want to spend the money on a dry cell battery to relacate to boot, to free up space for a pod box which id prefer.
At the moment im slowly doing stuff as money permits.
Next stage im thinking some form of boost control. And maybe a safc to clean up my mixtures, see how the chip goes.
And start thinking about clutches :? will need a new one sooooon'ish
The ultimate end goal in a yr or two is a 16g or 20g :twisted:
I want to look after my stock motor and have a nice streetable car so this is the way to go.
