I did one of these a fortnight ago.... I've thrown the boxes out sorry, but I didnt have any trouble sourcing the bearing from CBC ( sorry I cant be specific on the part #).

Good luck with the bolts needed to fasten the crown wheel to the carrier !!! Yours looks like an OBX LSD unit a customer gave to me to fit up. I'm not sure what OBX had in mind, but I had to get my carrier case milled with reliefs to allow the original bolts to be used. What a big engineering pain this unit is !

I'll look it up at home for you tonight mate. I'd stay clear of CBC they charge an arm and a leg as I recently had some quotes for gearbox bearings done by a few companies. The cheapest to deal through was Bearing Wholesalers.

Ah yes Bearing Wholesalers! Just remember me when you're famous Rob lol!

There's a Bearing wholesalers off Settlement rd in Thomo Jay. All bearings should have a part# on it somewhere, esp the ones in Mitsu boxes (KOYO or NSK branded)

Yeah Alex is right, all bearings have the part number on the inner bearing sleeve.
These FWD boxes use roller bearings on the front diff and the AWD boxes use actual ball bearings on the front diff.
Can you let me know the gearbox code for your FWD Galant? Also what year model?

sweeet thanks guys, i dont currently have the diff with me, i gave it to my uncle to machine into what ever he wants soo getting numbers off it is kinda hard atm...

some info:
1989 HG Galant GSR

Gbox code:

 ***, you lost me now with that gearbox code!! Ive never seen those before. I was expecting it to start with "F" like other FWD gearboxes do.
Just call him up and get him to read you the brand name (will be either NSK or Koyo) and the part numbers on the inner bearing sleeve. Thats the only way to make sure you get the right bearing with minimal headfuks :)

lol all good bro thanks anyways... i'll just have to pop over and take a look see..
