when i drive the car, i full clutch and its hard to put in gear..

ive had this problem before, and got my mate to drain out my clutch fluid and it was working fine for about 2-3 weeks..

now its playing up again.. i was having a leak around my sump area, could this be my clutch oil leaking??

do you guys have any solutions??

Cheers Peter

Check your master/slave for leaks.

Check yoru gearbox fill/drain plugs for leaks

Check the connections to your transfer and such for leaks.

Sounds like you're losing gearbox oil somewhere. Or possibly clutch fluid.

for checking the master if its leaking get in under the dash and look at it from the interior side of the fire wall if your seals in the bore are goneit will be leaking on the inside of your car. very common if its the case either replace with a CC or CE master but if you decide on buying a seal rebuild kit and doing it your self check the bore out first as they do tend to score the top of the bore when the piston seal wears out. so doing a rebuild kit will only be a temp fix till the scoring on the bore wreaks the brand new seal you just put in.

Yeah in the clutch fluid resevoir, its the little one next to the brake fluid resevoir.

But if its low after your mate bled the system recently then I would seriously check where its leaking from and replace that item.

What colour was that oil that was leaking on your sump? was it jet black or more translucent? If it wasn't black I would say it might be clutch fluid leaking from your slave cylinder. They are only like $80 or so.

Did your mates dad do those brakes for you yet? Ask him to take a look for you when you get the brakes done.

yeah nah its not straight black, its pretty transparent..

my brakes have been done already, costed $30 bucks to put in, and the disc didn't need machining..

but yeah, i'll go and slap some oil in there, and go get the slave cylinder checked out..
