gearbox/shifter cable question

it's been a while since i took the shifter cables off the gearbox (16months) and i can't remember if there is meant to be 4 rubber washer things (2either side)or only 2, these are what i am talking about

so there should be 1 either side of the bracket tim? i could only find 3 complete ones when i was trying to put my box together

I'm confused Craig (easy, I know :roll: ), If you are talking about where the cable go into the bracket, then there are no rubber washers, the cable goes in and the metal clip goes on, all done.

aaaaaaarrr :shock:
most brackets I've seen are bolted hard up to the box, maybe that explains why if the bolts are not stupid tight, the bracket moves around and can cause gear changing problems.
