Gel undercoat respray?

I was reading about a GSR for sale the other day and it stated that it had recieved a gel undercoat respray. Appearently it has something to do with no orange peal effect on the finish.

Has anyone heard of this or have any more info?

Gel undercoat is the undercoat they usually use on fibreglass components like bars, skirts, wings etc. Never heard of it being used on the entire shell before though?

Seen that car in person when he was in Newcastle.. not a bad car and the paint quality is awesome
