Hey Guys,

However have no idea what coin they should be going for....? I know that they are rare as shit, but would be nice to know the going rate so i dont get ripped.

That's right on the money. $600-$900, depending on condition, how complete is it (with all vents etc.) and who is selling (e.g. how eager they are to sell etc.)

Shipping may push this one up for you, but as you pointed out, genuine items are all becoming quite rare.

Just ordered a white bonnet, $790 on my door-step.

Sheesh not fkn cheap are they lol. Never saw a bonnet for any car cost so much lol. Ah well at least its genuine so no need to worry about fitment and crappy fibreglass mould warp.

Correct.

When closing your bonnet, make sure that you drop it from a low height (I find 20/30cm works we; rather than resting it on the bonnet latch and pressing down.

Bonnets are soft and if you push them, you put dents in them.
All bonnets should be dropped from just high enough to close them.
Like a door, if they only shut on first catch, never push it shut with your bum. Reopen it and shut it properly
