Hi Guys/ Gals,

Probably one of the 'older' users on here. I have just moved up to an Evo III (for Rallies) and am very impressed, having previously run a variety of cars over 30 years, including a VR4 and Mazda 323 GTX.

My requests in the near future are likely to revolve around maintenance issues, starting with how to scan the OBD. I am also always open to interesting ways of solving problems.

My car is stock-as-a-rock standard except for 34mm restrictor, 3" exh after the first pipe, and 50mm DMS.

Cheers

Kevin

welcome KEV.

probably the easiest way of logging OBD1 is the ecm link chip available through one of our site sponsors.

have a look at the website for further info.

Heh heh, would be nice to have the original Big Boy back, but at 6'6" and 135kg, I'm the closest you've got!

Still, I'm Excited about the Evo, it just does so much so well.

My DMS are non-adjustable- just the way I like it. I'd get lost with Murray's stuff- even if I could afford it!

Cheers

Nah, Murray's stuff is great, he sets it up almost spot on. Just whack them in and away you go. The only thing I've touched on mine is soften the front and rear 2 clicks (combined bump and rebound) for the last event cause it was pretty rough.

What was your previous car?

Previous car was a Mazda 323 GTX, prior to that was a VR4. I must admit, I still have a longing to run a V8 at some stage, wouldn't be as fast, but what a hoot........

Cheers

Kevin
