Has anyone seen or have the group A pipe for the EVO III which is the pipe of the turbo which feeds the intercooler piping?

What did you pay for it?

Is it worth it?

Do you mean the big arse J pipe that goes way over the manifold and into the hole where the ABS unit would be on the road car?

Seen it...yes pay for it, or ever seen one for sale....no....They were anodised red as well (the pic ive seen and got)

It was a RA Works team By HKS, have pics of one but doesn't look anything overly special by any means if you had access the a mandrel bender of alloy they could make you one exactly the same, for probably less than half price, I have pic's on my hard drive somewhere here of it.

There's also a Japanese street mod using the factory oem evo 1-3 piping in a different configuration following the same path lay out as the over manifold Works Team route and it can be made from the original piping set.

You taking about one of these? (pic attached) This is for a vr4.
This is from plazmaman, they have none of these left but have the late model evo ones that are cast, not like mine, ozzyvr4 has one pictured in his ride thread, welded it on at a suitable angle. So you could probably do the same to suite the evo.
Hit meek or plazmaman up.

I should buff the gold anodizing off and polish it to suite the rest of the Aluminium piping lol but i kind of like the gold. dunno

Direct link?
Brand new or second hand?
If second hand, wouldnt be worth $100.
There's heaps of over the manifold j-pipes around for less than that brand new.

I was talking to meek and he reckoned back in the day when he threw one on his early evo he was surprised.
He told me to buy from plazmamam with my piping kit as i wanted a few things changed around, so its not like he was directly making money from saying it.

Looking at the piping it makes sense to me, why have that tuiny turbo outlet choking everything. Even the stock 16g compressor covers are tiny compared to late model evo ones.

this is how mine runs (1st 2 photos which was made up by BJP)

last pic is of the plazmaman outlet which is still pretty decent and flares out to 2.5"

More specfically...

the outlet off the turbo drops in between the chassis rail and the radiator.. then out of the IC pipe it turns right and keeps within the rail again..

I'll take some pics of mine tonight.. its definatly a lot more responsive and its nearly 1m less piping that stock.

with my thicker radiator I could only just fit a 2.5" pipe in there even with a bit of modding of the rsp
