**GROUP BUY** ECM link v3 lite

Help Support 4GTuner:

I actually don't use an LC1 but you should only need the sensor and controller unless you buy the gauge so you can monitor it real time.
I don't use my stock O2 now either, ditched it ages ago :)

Ahh ok. Yeah the "lamba cable" is the controller in the LC-1.
Lucky you chimed in Tim! :p
nk - ozyvr4 is using the LC-1 with ECMlink in case you want product specific advice.

i was actually referring to whether the ecmlink can connect directly to a wideband o2 sensor or whether it requires the additional controller to convert the signal. the reason i ask is that it would be much cheaper to purchase the sensor only, if there is no need for the kit.

yeh its a pretty straight forward mod. Mind you I'm not going to solder it like some of those horrific photos on ecmlink's website!
just socketed my ecu and did the jumper mod.. and i can tell you now, the soldering isn't bad considering how freakin small the jumper is! note that you have to get the solder around the edges to make contact. an electronic desolder is also a must for anyone socketing their own ecu.. made it piss easy to do.

refer to the ecmlink website. it's basically a little 0 ohm resistor that needs to be desoldered from the "J2" connection and resoldered to "J1" to allow extra memory to be used.. use a pair of tweezers and a solder sucker to remove it.
