I'd just like to say some people are really outright morons.

I work in a repair centre...

I pick up the phone, say goodafter, my name, how can I help you.

This lady starts basically screaming and carrying on straight after that. I'd have my product sent to you three times now, the first time it got fixed you sent it back as I needed it for the weekend, but you forgot the battery so it was pointless and I missed whatever she had on that saturday, and you sent me another battery.

Me: Oh ok
Her: Wait, let me finish

Me: Continues getting abused and listens for another 2 minutes or so.

Her: Complained about some other crap about going on a camp and it broke and had to send it back for repair, which it did get repaired. Now its broken again and I need it tomorrow and it not here, yell scream, carry on. You've had it for months.

Me: Months? Ok, let me find out you job numbers, I have the exact date's, what was done etc.

I find the first repair: Booked in 5/5, left 21/5
I find the second repair: Booked in 1/8, left 7/8.

Me: I tell her, ok, the first repair was booking in on the 5/5, and it left the 21, so was here for 16 days inc weekends.

Her: Dont tell me.. yada yada yada, kept screaming/whinging.

Me: Im like when did you send it.

Her: Around the start of this month.

Me: Im like ok, I'll find the post tracking number.

Her: Basically said I was pointless, some other shite, continued to scream.

Me: Look, Im trying to help you, but I will not help you if you continue to scream/yell out me. I then shoved her on hold, speak to someone else.

These people really piss me off. The most rudest lady I've ever come across in the two+ years working here.

So f'n angry. Plain out bitch, and I rarely call people anything.

Oh and in the end, its in the mail, being delivered.

She can shove it where the sun dont shine. I was so tempted to just hang up. Wish I had a f'n recording of this shit.

mate,

i own a wrecking yard.......... i deal with the f*kwits everyday...... you know what cuts me the most........ "are you sure it's the right one". Its like for f**ks sake i wouldnt have opened my shop if i didnt know what i was selling..........

or when you ask for a part number (alot of european cars have different modules n shit) they'll argue the point that there all the same when really they are not!!
 
Yep, cause it makes perfect sense to fire up at the frontline staff. People need to calm the hell down.

Yellings, screaming and violence is all society knows now.
 
dont worry retail gets worse, i'm stuck in a tool shop every day, try explaining to a customer who had no F*%KIN clue on how to use a hammer.. how to use a hammer! and no they were not from overseas either....
 
Ahh im glad i dont have anything to do with users/people, just be and the IT stuff not getting along (it carnt yell back ...... much)
 
hey i had a guy approach me asking what a flux capacitor was and why he needed one for the roadwoarthy for his susuki sierra. Being to good an opportunity to pass up i told him it had to do with pollution control and that he would need a 3ft piece of fallopean tube to hook it up plus all this stuff was availabe from repco. I would have loved to have been there when he asked for it.
 
bwaahahha I hear ya man. When Iused to work for Telstra years ago I got it a fair bit too. Its amazing how quickly people back down when you get back at them and in a firm and semi angry voice say 'look, continue to speak to me like that or make personal attacks toward me then I'm going to hang up'. I remember one day someone had a go at me, cant remember what for and said they were going to track me down yada yada yada. I said 'Your address is number X Smith street right? I know where that is...' then they shut the fuk up lol :) You get your bad and your good customers and the bad ones can make your day sh!t, but its all totally gotten over the next morning :)
 
The endless fun of customer service.. I have noticed over the past 4 years of working with people, they are getting ruder, and ruder, and START shouting, rather than escalate towards it. It's frustrating to say the least. Don't take it personally, people have been trained to do it. The best way to deal with it is to add as much bullshit to their day in return as you can, ie send shit regular post instead of express, if they're rude to you.
 
I met plenty of fukwit customers when I was working part-time at BI-LO from when I was 16 to 20. It's amazing though, when I go back to that store some 10 years later I sometimes see the same fukwits complaining about the same fukwit things to the current generation of shelf packers and trolley boys. :rolleyes:
