GSR 4G93Turbo loom to run a 4G63Turbo (with 4G63T ecu)

I have a customer wanting to run an Evo 1 engine with a Std 4G93 Turbo loom ( Aust delivery)with a Evo 1 ecu plugged in . Will this work ?

im no technical guru in this area, but am looking at running an autronic P n P ecu which is meant for the EVO 3 loom. I have an aus delivered GSR, and have been told that there are only two wires that differ in positioning between the EVO and GSR looms.......

but as i said, im not really the person to be giving any technical advice in this area

I am 99.9% sure that it will work as i have seen a conversion with a mate who did what you said above.

i did it with the jspec loom.
cant be too much differences between the aspec and jspec loom surely?

the only issues are the p/s, alt, a/c, and coils wires need relocating or extending, If you want to pull the harness apart and change then rewrap it will look neat , other wise some quite long extensions may be required, but fairly easy!


I have just completed a GSR > EVO conversion and mated the EVO engine harnes to the GSR chassis harness
