Hey guys,
I have a 4g63 converted GSR. I understand on what needs to be done as far as final drive ratios, etc. Believe me I have read the SHIT out of evo-coupe's write up (and thank you so much). The confusion I have left is, do the driveshafts from a GSR fit up, I know to maintain my 3.5 rear diff i will need an evo 1-2 box and I can keep my transfer from the GSR.
Has anyone done JUST a box swap to a GSR from an EVO? (with correct final drive adjustments, swapping Crown wheel and pinion).
Did you have any issues?
I am a mechanic and have access to hoists etc.
The final result is that i would also like to buy one...
If it is all going to be too much I will just swap it out with another GSR box.
