Hey guys hoping to find or come across a gsr gearbox if anyone has one? prefer Sydney area but don't mind interstate.

sorry I should of gone into more detail as jamo said I do have a time frame. how much would you sell the one in the ute for jack of all?

I bought jamos gsr so need few parts to get the car on the road, ive got until the 21st of dec to get a pink slip so I want to try get it all done before then

Fuk, 21st December to get a pink slip? You gotta get a move on.

If the boys cant help you out in time above, I have a GSR gearbox here and all it has is a crunchy first gear apparently (advice from previous owner). I could pull it down and suss it out over the weekend for you.
I have a spare first gear synchro and springs and hub/slider to replace the one in the gearbox if that's all it needs.

Price will be $650 as a working 2nd hand GSR gearbox that you can pick up Monday/Tuesday from Newcastle and install straight into your car. For $20 petrol money, I could even meet you half way on the freeway at the twin servos.

But if it needs anything else like new bearings, seals, gears, or whatever then it will cost extra obviously, depending if I have the spares, where I will need to buy them from, or if I have to order parts in from the US which will take 2-3 weeks to get here.

I was going to rebuild it with new bearings, springs, synchros, keys, seals, roll pins, shims etc and sell it for $1200k, but money wise its no different to me as those new parts cost about $600 anyway + shipping, so there's no sense in me doing the extra rebuild work if the gearbox is in good second hand condition to start with.

Either way, whether it is in good second hand condition as it is, or whether it needs a rebuild, I'll let you know over the weekend.

Rickii you shit stirrer. I meant $1200 not $1200k lol

Ahhh Romeo, you could have a problem.
If you don't already have a gearbox, then what about the things that bolt onto a gearbox?
eg: gearbox mounts, clutch fluid piping and bracket, slave cylinder, shifter linkage, reverse switch?
Im not sure what I have spare until I have a squiz in the garage.
