gsr seat belt clicker

hey guys, im after a pair of gsr seat belt clickers. Its the part that bolts on to the seat which the seat belt clicks into. I went to find out how much they are genuine and the guy told me they dont sell them seperate that i would have to buy the whole seat belt kit which is over $300. Im not fussed if they are 2nd hand as long as they work.

From memory std cc seat buckles (clickers) will be the same as GSR ones, the only difference is they might be grey in color instead of black. Should be able to source some from a self serve wreckers at a small cost.

Dunno about lancers but some other cars have a few different size tounges on the seatbelt. Check it the same before spending up. Or get the tongue as well. They easy to change as you can undo the belt at the retractor end.
Also silicone spray on the web will make the belt retract like new...

ill try that silicone spray cos both cars dont retract that good anymore, and ive tried my normal lancer clickers and they work on the gsr, ive got evo 6 clickers in black i was thinking of getting normal lancer ones and putting the inside of them in the evo 6 ones so they are black. but not sure if its possible.

Wrong.
Standard CC buckles are different size...I've checked recently so Im 100% sure they are different.
I tried them on my Evo and the tongue would not go into the buckle..

i think the evo ones might be diffrent to the gsr then? cos ive swapped over buckels with my normal lancer and the gsr, i guess cos its aus delivered its the same as base model lancers.

I tried them on my Evo and the tongue would not go into the buckle..

Wrong I believe not.... today I checked my CC model cars that I have ... all the seat belt tongues measure 27mm from a GLXi, GSR and EVO II .... they are all compatible with each other. Only my proton ute is different with a 21mm seat belt tongue. Not sure why your EVO is different and won't work.

Tried the GSR and GLXi tongues to each others buckles, they both connect and lock .... still yet to try the evo if that works also.
