Hi guys, Ive done some searching and it seems that a few people have bought the ported evo 3 manifold from gt pumps but no one has really commented whether it was worth it the $380 for it? I want to keep the car as stock looking as possible so I'll either stay with the stock one or get the gt pumps one but just seeing g if the stock one is all that restrictive or will cause more lag than the gt pumps

Basically looking for comments on value for money

Yea I have it seems good, good value for money, well made . Had a dodgy stainless steel one that was leaking. This hasn't had the same problems. Other option is fp manifold which looks sweet

Look stock with a 3076 hanging off the front of engine?

LOL!!

You might also find that unless the housing has been changed that the 3076 wont bolt up to a stock frame manifold?

Yeah the rear housing was changed to suit the stock manifold and dump setup. So that's why I was looking at the gt pumps manifold. And I have a 3" split dump ready too. I work for pwr and at the moment we're running 14hr days getting coolers ready for 2018 season. So I won't be till April when things calm down that I can start getting everything together. I got the Evo 5 ecu off eBay too. So all in all I think I'll easily hit my 200-220kw range. Tbh I think I'll be closer to 230-240 now. But we'll see how we go. I bought a 340lph pump I think 800cc Denso injectors will do fine but dunno if I should go low or high impedance. The car will not be tracked at all. It will only see boost when taking off at the lights and I feel the need to prove a point. Lol

So all that's left to buy is the injectors ported exhaust manifold, take the car to an exhaust shop and get a mandrel bent 3" affair and then a tune.

So what injectors would you get for my purpose? And would the car be safe to drive to the tune shop with the 3" tbe and all the other mods including a 600x300 front mount? I don't want it to running too lean. I'd obviously be gear changing by 2k-2.5k and very low throttle input. But the tuner I'll use will most likely be next up and thee like 45mins away.

Ah awesome and did you find the response increase noticeably??
Haven't fitted it yet. My expectations are that it won't change response much.

I bought it because I wanted something more stock looking than the current spagetti type.
