We're taking off on Sunday now, staying overnight at Lakes Entrance, then making the last part of the trip Monday arvo (my g/friend gets carsick so she wasn't keen on 8.5 hrs non-stop driving).

Otherwise we'd have definitely dropped past to say Hoi.

Over here in w.a the cops said on the radio to add about an hour onto the ~5 hour trip down south that 30 000 people take over the easter break. Due to their road blocks.
I last yr i saw about 6 cameras and 10 or so cars and bikes. crazy.
