Hail Damage

Hail came last night in Perth, we had a mad storm it was over pretty quick. We had mud slides in the city at the base of kings park.

My girlfriends house had hail about golf ball size.

Heap of cars here a driving around like the pic you blokes put up. I couldn't believe it after seeing all your pics.

That's about the only advantage of having my car up on stands tucked away in the garage.

Anyone considering paintless dent removal? Any I've seen in the past I haven't been overly impressed with. We've currently got an Evo10 in the shop that copped a serious pounding. Like, trashed. I was expecting new hood, roof, and bootlid, and repair the guards and a door. Two paintless dent guys had the whole thing near spotless in 5 hours. Absolutely fucking amazing. There's a spot on the bonnet I picked a ripple, where it was especially stretched but I doubt anyone who isn't a panel beater would notice. :p Just needs a light cut and polish where they scratched it, but that's not nearly as much work at repairing it the panel shop way.

Definitely worth doing, and I think I want a new job doing that stuff!

I think theyre doing my doors with paintless dent, but the bonnet and roof are beyond repair.

There is a PDR guy in Brisbane that performed miracles on my hail damaged VR4 and I would highly recommend James from Prodent to anyone.

Was in Perth for the last week and I can safely say nothing in Melbourne including rowville were as bad as the cars in perth, especially around crawley/nedlands

had a quite a few cars come in to work just after this storm and it was quite shocking to see, didnt think of taking pics, they were only Subarus anyway but it is a thing to see that you wouldnt wish upon anyone with a prized car. How is the rest of your bonnet Windex? I coped a hail storm years ago and since the alloy bonnet is softer than the rest of the panels on the car it has quite a few small dents all over it from that storm, fucking scary to be driving through as well I can tell you all that for sure.
