Hi guys
I'm selling my aftermarket Haltech E8 ECU and a Galant VR4 patch loom to go with it.
No need to explain that the patch loom saves a sh!tload of time. money and wiring headaches because it simply just plugs into your factory ECU plugs.
The ECU works 100% perfectly fine. Ran my built engine with Haltech idle control, 4 bosche coils in sequential fire, external MAP sensor etc no problem since the engine was built 5,000kms ago.
Tuner wants me to spend over $3,500 on some new bits and pieces and a tune, so I have to sell some things to put $$ towards my next kick in the nuts.
ECU & PATCH LOOM COMBO
Price drop to $700

Or if you wanted, you can buy a 3-bar MAP sensor and air intake temp sensor for $120 and plug them into the patch loom. Then you can get rid of your oem air flow meter and have a fully programmable ecu ready to tune no matter what turbo or intake mods youre running.

Ahh...... of course.... the Zeitronix kit which is the one-up to the Fluffamuhjiggah-onix system :p.

I can't believe this hasn't already sold. A great upgrade for anybody with a stock ECU or even an older aftermarket ECU that might not be able to support everything you want to do.

I'll bump it again.
Will consider a payment plan for someone who doesnt have the money up front?
Tax return is due?
$200 a week?
PM me.

PRICE DROP $700!!
This ecu and patch loom combo is perfect for a modded GVR4. Then in future if you ever wanted to upgrade to a newer platinum haltech ecu you can simply just unplug old ecu/ plug in new ecu and revisit your tuner. You do not have to rewire anything. That is the beauty of the patch loom and these model haltech ecu's.

Rob, does the E8 use the 3D tuning maps? Same software platform as the PS or is it different?

Yes George, its got numeric, 2D and 3D mapping.
Interesting how when it came to tune my idle afr's, that the 3 tuners all did it via the basic numeric values anyway lol
Im not sure of the software differences between the E8 and ps1000 as I havent used a ps1000 yet. I would imagine the software will be pretty similar in the basic functions for tuning, but have an updated gui with extra features added to take advantage of the platinum series ecu's. You cant transfer an E8 tune to a ps1000 though, due to ps1000 requiring its own platinum series software.
