Haltech's new 'ECU Manager' software, first seen on the Platinum 350Z ems, is setting the bar for standalone tuning. This incredible software coupled with updated hardware (including USB connectivity and dual CAN processors) made way for the new Platinum line of Haltech ECUs. The Platinum Sport 1000 and Platinum Sport 2000 are complete and will be first to market, available in early 2009. Ultimately the E8 and E11 will be phased out as the Sport 1000 and 2000 do everything and more for the same cost. Following those will be the Platinum Pro with additional features like quad cam control and true dual drive by wire control.

Yep E11v3. Its the same thing Hitman was testing when my car was there a few weeks ago Mik. Its got an inbuilt 3 bar map sensor I'd expect. Good thing is that they are a direct swap for an existing E8/E11 setup as they use the same plugs and wires :)

Any idea on retail price for plug-in?

I've decided to replace my ECU in the new year. Will be Vipec or something like this.

Yeh i remember now, this was b4 Haltech even made the stickers for them :p nor the color of the unit lol

Vipec hasnt had much publicity, i have been told they are basically same specs as the Autronic but cheaper
