Hdi intercoolers

Just wondering if anyone has or are currently using one?

Anyone have an opinion on them over a pwr/plazaman cooler? I know you get what you pay for but I think there isn't really too much in a cooler. Il be getting all the piping done from a mate so no need for a whole kit.

There's actually a whole lot in an intercooler!
Have a read of A.R.E intercooler a tech articles.

If you aren't chasing a ton of power most cheaper coolers will work ok though.

I know there a definitely a lot of variables to consider. On my gtr we tested a lot of intercoolers (not hdi) and we found that there wasn't much difference although they were all pretty expensive coolers.

The difference between a $500(hdi) vs $900-$1000(pwr etc) would be substantial but was just wondering what kind of power figures people might be seeing on these coolers.

Have you got any other recommendations brisvr4?

I'm aiming for around the 400-450kw mark for now
