pistons came, just to know this before stuff gets put back together

Do you want to know the torque settings for the head studs and conrod bolts?? if so if they aren't listed in the box contact a web site for that brand.

or are they stock head studs / bolts for conrods??

yep unfortunately thats all i could afford

Hope you can afford another rebuild when you run too much boost and too much revs and the rods say goodnight. :(

Mate even them china rods would be better than your stocko ones

Then there are these ones: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/H-Beam-Conne...ryZ72205QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

Argo rods or something similar would be the go...mate...spend a little more time saving the money...save money now for the better rods and your engine will thank you  :)

What Next next you save and buy rods before you throw your $ away.

With a evo engine you could get away with it but for the 93t you'll need them better now than more $$ later

 Do it once, do it right. The first time.

like i said i didnt have much choice. i'm not gonna be flogging it. so it wont matter.
this is one of the culprits

as you can see the bearing has grabbed

i can understand with cars / mods, $$ is the biggest issue...

but if you really wont be flogging it and you want to use standard rods in your rebuild, you may as well have just used standard pistons as well and saved the money there...
forged pistons are for flogging, and if you will eventually flog, you should get rods now while you can.

but since you have already bought the pistons and theyll be going in, save up some more and keep it off the road longer and do the rods as well.. do it once, do it right... especially while its all apart

im not having a go, but ive stuffed up a couple of years ago-before my current build - just wasnt worth cutting corners believe me
