Head noise?

Well guys, decided to keep the beast so going to to some more stuff to it :lol:
1st and most anyoing problem is this tappet sound im getting. I have just spent like $200 on 3g lifters from meek :? $50 on new motel 4100 and also some thicker stuff :? Now the car runs like a dream and it doesnt seem to be effecting it in any way! All lifters were collapsed and put in right and checked again once run in. Doesnt seem to be any rocker wear. Any quick and easy ways to find out whats going on? Sound is a fairly erratic but when driving has the ticking sound identical to lifter noise. I mean i can live with it and drive it just prefer if it was a bit quiter :roll: Definatley from the head! any help appreciated

have you checked the rollers inside the rockers?,

some of mine were very rough(and the inlets were all pitted)I replaced them with evo 8 ones which are lighter too.

Mine took a little while to settle in ( 3g lifters bought on ebay ).
They are silent now Took a few days is all.

Mine were very loud when I replaced them but they settled down pretty quick.

I'm just thinking that if you have replaced the lifters and after a couple of days they are still noisy it could be a butterfly/ies in the manifold?
