4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

ahh cdi goodness ;)

we used to have gtrs blow those flaps close at 350-400ish kws, only way we found to fix it was removal lol

do you log exhaust temps? running e85 now?

Barry do you have the option of using a spark cut launch control unit to help build boost on the line?
I have a dynatek arc2 CID that has launch timing retard and spark cut.

George, I'm with you there. it was strange on the dyno. 300kw one run, next run 390kws with no change at all! something physically was happening... I'm going to remove it or tie it open next time...

Tim, I can set the autronic to hard cut ignition only. I had it set on soft fuel and ignition cut on launch which didn't do much at all. Next time it will be hard ignition cut and 15degrees retarded ignition off the line.

With the 35r setup I never launched it and ran consistent low 11s and a high 10. I had similar expectations with this setup but I guess not!.

George, unfortunately my sdl didn't log the 4x egt channels. it only logged my old egt x1 channel. I need to sit down and set everything up properly.

need to change my shift light (set on old rpm limit of 7000), change warning lights etc.

Yes on e85 United now.

unplugged lol. my old setup.

I just found out a few things.

1. my active exhaust valve is installed with the incorrect offset meaning the valve can close from exhaust flow... this explains the loss is random power on the dyno and also the 125mph runs...
2. coils were arching on the bonnet. I had insulated it on the day but it was still arching slightly.. need to install the cf bonnet I think..

hanging for the next time out now...

At least you've identified the problems Baz, nothing worse than standing there staring at it scratching your head wondering WTF is going on.
