Hi All,

Found out about 4GTuner recently - it's great to see such a healthy Mitsubishi following out there! My name's Rommel and I own a stock standard CC Lancer GSR. Been tempted a few times to start modding it, but I've been down that path before, having owned a supercharged MX-5 in the past. It's nice to meet everyone and I hope to learn more from this forum. Anyway, here's a pic of my car...

Hey welcome buddy!

Its pretty rare to find a stock gsr these days!

Has it definately got NO modifications at all engine wise?

If not since its pretty rare, and for the interest of the forum. Next time you do a service for it, new plugs, leads filters, oils etc, you dont want to give it a Dyno power run for the benefit of the forum do you? :)
I dont think anyone has ever actually dyno'd a stock gsr before to get a base line in drivetrain loss. The reason I say after the service is because the engine and car should be at its best. Im assuming the power level will be lower than we think due to the age of the engine and its sure to loose a slight bit of power.

Go on.... Do iiiiiiiiitttttttt! LOL :p

It does have a noise maker (i.e. a cannon muffler), which came with the car when I bought it, but I doubt that adds anything in terms of performance. Looks good though so I left it as is. I also ditched the factory speakers in favour of JVC speakers for better sounds. Other than that, it still has the factory steering wheel, head unit, etc.

I'll consider it, in the interests of science of course! ;)

Welcome you tease LoL - dont touch it and spoil its purity!
PS: i will still buy it if your mrs give you the green light hahaha

No worries, I intend to keep it in stock condition. Might even try to source a stock muffler to replace the 'sports' muffler.

The VRX is CVT since the missus can't drive manual.

Thanks for the compliments. Stock GSRs seem to be few and far between these days.
