Hi all,

New to the forum. I currently drive a 1997 Galant vr4 which I have been trying to sell for the last 2 months. Looking to buy an evo 3, 5 or 6 as I'm bored of the auto. Hope to learn a lot on here :)

Welcome to the forum,

Hope you learn alot here also :)

What type of VR4 do you have?? pics and price?

BTW you wont find an EVO3 that can be registered in NSW easily, theres alot of REPV EVO3s but they cant be rego'd in NSW

EVO5/6 are easy to find for as low as 12k

12k? Nobody seems to want to budge on theirs! I need to get rid of the galant before I buy an evo though as it is my second car at the moment.
It's 1997, silver, auto, 135,000kms, viper alarm, greddy boost controller, greddy turbo timer. Rest is stock. 11 months rego. Hoping for around $8k for it. Got it up on gumtree for $8.7k. Do you think that's a fair price? I've had a lot of interest but outrageous offers ranging from $2.5k to $4k!!!

Tell me about it. Whoever buys it for $8k is getting a good deal. Interior is Immaculate and the exterior is pretty good for it's age. Haven't put it up on carsales yet. Think I should do that.

I've only tried gumtree, boostcrusing, hardtuned, jdmst...the bigger forums. Not familiar with galant forums. Tried ebay twice, both times the winners didn't follow through with payment. Not doing that again!

See those websites u posted on are crap to sell these cars, most of them want Skylines or Hondas or even bogandores lol

Get your post count up and advertise on here, or EVO OZ or have a look around for other forums

Hey guys just an update since it's been a little while. I ended up selling my galant VR4 and bought an evo 6. Got rear ended after only a few weeks and it was totaled! I then came across an S2000 for a price I couldn't refuse. Fun car but not practical so I sold it recently. Now I'm wanting to go back to the VR4 as it was a pretty awesome car.

This time, i'm going to go for a manual and hope to get a late model series 2. Shame there are so few available in Sydney :(

Go back to the VR4's this one's a winner for price and its a super VR4 (But again its a Auto)
