Hello forum

My name is Jon, I own a 1991 Summit White Galant VR4 (# 923/2000). I got the car last year in Sep. She is not the Pettiest car in the world but with a frest rebuild motor, a THD06-20G turbo, HKS 264, 3 inch exhaust, and lots of other goodies I couldn't pass up the deal. I loved my Galant but having 4 cars at my house for almost 6 months, I had to sell my Galant in April of this year since I couldn't sell my truck. I then sold my Infiniti G35 (I don't know if its call the Skyline 350Gt in Ausseland or NZ).

To make a long story short I got my Galant back in Oct with a blown motor for very cheap. Since than I been buying parts for rebuild/ mini restore. I hope to have her on the road very soon.

welcome mate, plenty of good info on here.
i bet its bittersweet to get the old girl back. pity the motor is shagged.
put up some pics when you get a chance.

so you bought it with a fresh motor then sold it, and the new owner stuffed it in about 6months? thats mechanical appreciation for you.
what did the engine need to fix it, just rings, or bearings and stuff too?

Here are the pic's before I got here.
