Hey guys,
Is there any places you can recommend for buying helmets? What should I look for? I want one so I can compete in some motorsport events, but I dont want to max out the credit card on one if you know what I mean!
I found a few here, the first place I looked really:

Go to inventory.

Revolution Racegear.

Range of CAMS approved helmets from 239 dollars to 2855 dollars. Depends what you want/need. (2855 has radio and water thingy entrance etc)

No they don't have to be. Most aren't. I think they do if you're in something like v8 lights etc. But nothing "club" level etc.

They have a website. check google. I think it's revolutionracegear.com.au

Yes, there's one in melb. There's one here in ballarat too and one in geelong I know of as well.

i was thinking about a helmet- today :?

I want an open faced helmet, does anyone know the rules on these?

closed helmets are not good Dre. u must get used to a full helmet.

why? If its good enough for Peter Brock, its good enough for me?

I suffer from mild claustrophobia, trust me, closed helmets arent good, well- for longer than a minute anyway.

man i hate helmets, stops you from hearing the car, stops you from breathing

i once got so hot that i had the aircon on and forgot to turn it off

funny enough, i ran my best time with it that day..

hahaha dre how did you ever do downhill without a full face?

the rally guys mainly have open face helmets though. but seriously, think if your seat belt/harness broke - lean forwards from your seat and see where your jaw lands :) usually pretty close to that steering wheel.
