help: what is this diff from?

hey guys, got this diff from a friend, he got it for his vr4 but it didnt fit, does anyone know what it might be from?
also, a problem seems to be there is not splines in there for axles to grip into.

i would say its from something with a solid rear axle, definately not a vr4. 1600 lancer gsr perhaps?

well thats what i am hoping really, i want it to fit into the rear end of a cyborg awd. but it does look different to the diff that i have.

Must have been a typo, that's not a LANCER diff, it's a LASER diff.

yeh we found out a while ago now it was a familia/laser transfer case

best thing to do is try to find some part numbers on there and google until something comes up
