Hey all,

I thought i'd say hello. I'm from Darwin. I'm new to this forum and new to the evo scene as well as i just recently purchased an EVO 2.

I owned a 180SX before i bought the EVO. And i've got to say i love them.

There's a lot for me to learn about these cars now. :D

I've attached a couple of photos of my new ride. (let's hope the link works)

hey all, thanx for the warm welcome.

the car itself is basically stock on the motor side of things, except for a 3" zorst and that's about it.

drivetrain and suspension: it's got tein coilovers, front locker 1 way LSD and apparently 2 way LSD on the back(both cusco item).
front and rear strut braces and boot brace as well.

it's goes fairly alright for a stock car, can't complain.

just a quick question tho to if any of u guys can help me out, what boost do they run stock as i heard they run 10psi stock. but i hooked up a boost gauge and it reads 8psi.

and what sort of max boost can i turn it up to b4 i hit fuel/boost cut?

Hi, Welcome to the forums mate. :)
any mods done to your evo? Or any planed?

hi how's it going?

future plans of mods: hmmm... there's a lot on my list. but first of all, a nice set of rims, turbo timer and an ebc.

my aim for this car will prob be at least 250awkw.

Basicly, that sounds about right for an EVO II of 8-9psi.
My EVO III runs 11psi stock.
Not sure on the fuel/boost cut limit of them, but they do have good size injectors (The E3 are 510cc) as standard And a good size AFM so just up grade your Fuel pump and you'll be sweet.
If you want to find out more do a search here, should find the answer. :)

yea i forgot to add the fuel pump is a walbro item.

i've tried to search in all the mitsubishi forums but i'm not getting a definite answer. :?

Just remember Darwin is Hotter then most places, therefor less boost can be run :( (Dont want the intake temp to high (read water injection))

On the VR4 - i ran upto 19psi in both Darwin / Alice - VR4's have lower compression.
