Hey guys,
Ive been away for awhile, I still have my VR4, but it is officially advertised as of tomorrow... New house and the soaring price of fuel unfortunantly has finally forced me to get serious about selling mine.....
However, I have fitted a new fuel pump and a manual boost controller, I fitted the boost controller incorrectly and I was sporting around 20psi of boost!!!! Damn it moved..... But I was quite worried about head gasket issues with that kind of boost being produced... But I can assure you that an EVOII turbo (big 16G i think) will quite easily support 20psi of boost, and the fins on the turbine are not in 100% condition, not wreaked, but not brand new either....
It is running really well, and it sucks to sell it, but I need money for some landscaping unfortunantly.........
Thanks to everyone thats helped me with repairs and advice while I've had my car..... Jon, Sloth and Darren (at EVO Auto) for actually doing work on my car, and for putting up with phone calls asking whats going on with my car....!! LOL.. Barry for the new clutch in my car. Dre for the phone calls on asking advice on fuel pump installs...HAHAHAHA.
