Hows things Dre? hows your Borg coming along?

The three doors dont look too bad white but she will be getting a inside and out respray but you will have to wait and see as to what colour i go with :)

hey looks good man. i like the white ones too, but silver is better!! hahaha
remember send me ya email addy and ill send ya that wiring info your after.

Would love the borg back chris just dont have the funds:( this little sucker only cost me $500

But i havn't been able to touch it as yet my brother brought a VR4 and ive been doing a few upgrades on that for him!

should be able to get started on it soon though then ill get some progress pics up :)

Well i thought i had updated this but i guess i havent.

I brought my old Cyborg back off Chrisbruggerman (RIP) after selling it to him to go overseas.

Anyways thought i would give a little update. The Borg had been going really well untill it snapped a clutch fork which put it off the road for about a week while got a new one and installed it.

Then a couple of weeks after it was back on the road a lady pulled out of a side road right in front of me(her window was fogged up and she didnt see me) and i smashed straight into her:fuuuuu:

Anyways a few weeks on and an agonising wait to see if the insurance company would allow me to fix it or write it off?? I finally hear from them and they will let me fix it

Not to badly damaged but still other than the badly fading paint this was one very straight and tidy example of a Cyborg.

So the $$$ from shannons finally came through so i set about getting her fixed up.
I tracked down the best second hand parts i could find. Searching though all the local and not so local import wreckers till i found everything i needed to repair the damage.

I replaced the Radiator support panel and the front section of the RH skirt with a second hand section.

Found a good second hand gaurd with only a few small dents that could easily be fixed.

didnt have much luck finding any good bonnets so took a bit of a chance on an aftermarket taiwanese one which was cheaper then the dented up crap they were trying to sell second hand and actually for a taiwanese part is half decent not perfect but pretty damn good.

Some more pics i know how we all love pics!!

So i fitted some genuine Evo 0 vents. and shaved the moulding out of the front bar

It will look a little out of place for a while with that fresh new paint next to the faded 22yo paint but hey i figured i intend to respray it a completely different colour so i just painted the bits i "had to" so i can get it back on the road and so shannons will re-insure it.

Cheers guys, Ill finally be able to drive it again today :)

As for future plans ill be getting a new roof in from japan and some time in the future respraying her think she deserves to look good again.

And some dyno time for a good tune.
