Hi,im 29 and come from auckland,found this site after doing a search on our local mitsi forums.

ive been into mitsi's since i could drive,i used to have a 12sec vr4 which i have since sold and my new project is an l300 4g63 powered van,i think you guys call them express vans.my aim is to initally get a 12 sec pass in full street trim before pulling it off the road and aiming for 11s,no pics to post up as of yet,ive been tinkering with 4g63's since i was 16 and probably will do so for a few years yet,i look forward to posting here and sharing information.

the van project sounds interesting, there is some v8 van in australia running 10's, so it can be done! looks funny as hell! :lol:
he was doing 1/4 mile passes with his plumbing stuff still on the roof racks :lol:

yeh i miss her,had the car for 7yrs which is longer than ive been married for,i didnt plan on getting anything else but ive been drawn back into it,the reason i chose the van is because i knew i cant be the fastest vr4 in NZ its already down to 10.2 and we all know who has the fastest evo so i wanted to think outside of the square abit

4g63 powered vans are everywhere but a wee bit scarce on the strip so i hope to change things and gives me a realistic chance of being the fastest in NZ with it,mainly just want to have fun with it and enjoy the challenge of getting it into the 11s as these not too many paths to follow to get there which i like

the van hasnt had the conversion done yet,still amassing all of the parts i need

td06 20g evo2 exhaust housing
3inch exhaust
tial wastegate
rx7 injectors
apexi SAFC
evo 2 AFM
evo intercooler 2 1/4 inch piping
full ceramic clutch
evo2 exhaust manifold
bosch 600hp fuel pump
standard internals

thanks for the welcome guys,i currently reside in howick but in the near future am looking to move down to taupo especially now that lakeside is up and running,have been scoping out house prices etc and like what i see

also does anyone know what year this van is and did it come with the gearbox that bolts up or was it swapped over with the one that does?

True, my ex is from bucklands beach, I grew up in Mt Eden (not the prison) before I made the move over these ways!

I was in Taupo a month ago, awesome place, go check out "Off Tap" for the best steak of your life!!!

yeh i found taupo to be great,a little small though but its a much more relaxed setting than auckland,have though about aussie but we are starting a family soon and dont wanna move away from our familys just yet
