Hello there folks! Im new to the forum...i have a 1989 GSR Galant in metallic green in mint condition, and well im looking forward to getting to know more about my car and what i can do with it and what info etc i can get about it. I am a previous skyline freak, but have switched camps for something that is both sporty, awesome fun to drive and practical. My car is the 2L twin cam with 5spd manual. pretty well stock as a rock....the factory suspension thing has been disconnected and its running pedders shocks, the towbar has been removed also.
Im keen to learn more about the car, what i can do with it to improve it (but not turbo it), where i can get work manuals for it, any issues or things i should know about the car etc, and to see other peoples gsr's for ideas... look forward to hearing from ya all...and whether or not any cruises in adelaide?

congrats on joining our second home :D welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay here.

btw thats a very clean/original and unmolested GGSR you have there.

Welcome mate,

the GSR is the next best thing to a VR4! better styling (people will argue this :p) and more boot space!!!

Thanks people! much appreciated... yep my car is UNTOUCHED!!!! not sure where to from here though....but maybe try something a little different....and just go for factory spec but mega mega clean etc. and only upgrade things like better quality oil filter, better air filter, better suspension, better disc brakes, etc, but keep the factory alloys.

Im after ANY info you go on these little cars...given I was previously a skyline man....so i need to learn much more about the car, get info/diagrams, work manuals, learn secrets/bugs or issues the cars can have, find out what oil is best to put in it, what i could get for upgrading suspension, air filter etc...

SO any help is much appreciated....
