As to the evo motor i would suspect that a evo 4+ motor would bolt up to a 96+ lancer with some mods...

Have a look in our tech sections and ask there.

Im sureit would as the VRX is suppose dot be the same chassis as the evo. Does the floor pan have a tailshaft channel though?

no it does in and the deff dont fit but if u put and evo 4 5 and 6 motor in ur car u can make it all wheel or rear wheel.
but if u put in a evo 4 rear diff or 6 u have to cut out the floor if its a coupe dont no about a four door.
in the coupe u have to use evo 3 diff
