Woa!! Two immaculate rides right there, welcome mate!

Can you put your location in your profile when you get a chance ;)

Such a mint VR4 EVO! And the Eterna GSR! how rare is that!! Takes me back to the days of Tredia GSR's/Lancer Fiore's etc etc!

Whats going into it? 6G72 aye?

yeah Eterna GSR not so common at all - it's basically an upper spec Galant coupe, probably better known as the Sapporo in Europe/America and Scorpion in Australia. It's what the Starion was based on and shares the same running gear like IRS, LSD, 4w vented disc brakes etc.

and yep MIVEC 6G72 from a 30M Diamante, with two TD04HL-15T's going to be attached. Bought a complete GTO motor but have only ended up using a few parts so far like the flywheel and inlet manifold.

i was shoring through the pic thread on oldskool the other day and had a laugh at this :)

p.s. love the eterna

yea shit, i was meant to type that in as well!

i always wanted to do something similar when i had my E84, MIVEC TT, i honestly thought you were going to do it before you sold your MIVEC Galant.

however, the Eterna is mucho cooler!

I still have the MIVEC Galant, tis my daily driver. It was so tempting to put the 6A12 into the Eterna when I had it out of the Galant, but 6A12's were never mounted north/south and would still be presented with problems sorting out a gearbox, and water routing/inlet manifold etc whereas 6G72 has all the RWD stuff available.

thought about that but it would be so much easier to tuck two TD04HL-15G's down there close to the block - they're found on 2L RVRs so they would be an ideal turbo to deal with 1500cc of each bank. They share the same flange with TD05s so if they are still too small a TD05 upgrade would be easy. The stock turbos are TD04-9B's and are tiny, they produce good boost from 1500rpm onwards but tend to start running out at 4500rpm and by 6000rpm they aren't able to boost over 10psi efficiently.

yea bro, nz styles, from tha mt originally, car scene used to be good not sure anymore, any way welcome man
