High idle

Ever since i got my car ive had bad idle problems and so far ive replaced tb shaft seals,tb gaskets put in a fiav block off plate swapped isc motor and checked ecu for bad drivers, checked tps and idle switch with mutlimeter. Grounded the connectors to reset biss screw and now it holds 20psi with boost leak test, car idles much better now but sometimes while stopping it stays idling between 1500-2000 rpm until i blip the throttle then it goes back normal idle? Also the other night while driving when i push in the clutch pedal to change gears it revs up to 4000rpm(foot is off the gas) and once clutch pedal is released it goes back to normal? Checked the throttle cable and everything seems normal

Sounds like a sticking throttle. Either cable or plate.

this has been a long fight to get this far. Good that you have stuck with it and have had some real improvement in idle.

Give the cable a squirt with lube. Up at the tb and down behind pedal. Its a pita to get cable out as the firewall clip is frustrating.

My car was doing that. I added a helper spring to snap the butterfly back hard. Didn't do it again.

Does anyone know how to get that firewall throttle cable grommet/clip out without removing dash first?

I didnt take the dash out but it was a frustrating little prick, used multi grips and un clipped the top, then a long acrew driver for the bottom,
