just wondering if anyone has done one and what thinds are needed (ie roll cage etc)
interested in diong the rob roy in vic for my first race in the vr4 :D

make sure at rob roy the front is not too low because
the bump at the bottom of the hill is big and the front might
hit if your not careful

Dunno if it's the same down there, but for the hill climb at Mt Cotton, Brisbane, you don't need a cage or harnesses but do need a CAMS 2S license, battery triangle, tape on headlights and any other forward facing glass, 2kg fire extinguisher, helmet, neck to wrist to ankle non flammable clothing (no nylon or synthetics, cotton or wool only), shoes with leather uppers and working seatbelts (not frayed and must lock when yanked on hard).

And a 3rd party extension for the event if the car is registered.

If its run under the CAMS regs, then its probably similar to the above requirements.

will have a look on the net thanks for the heads up
cheers :D

had a look and on the form to get the CAMS 2S you need to be part of a club which one are you with rob323
and what is a battery triangle :?
cheers :D

On the CAMS website, they have a link of all affiliated clubs, ring around and find out which club interests you. Although being part of a Brisbane based club wouldn't be a problem, it would be better to find a local club to support.

A battery triangle is a blue traingular sticker that you put on your car to indicate where the battery is.
