Hey guys hook a forum member up!

Due to a measurement error with the 3000GT/ GTO brakes Im trying to help out Jamie/ BYBY5L with a hook up of some replacement Disc Rotors.

Looking for either blanks or re-drilled/drilled in 4x114.3mm, 314mm diameter, 30mm thickness with a 45.5mm hat height and 69mm hub hole.

Doesn't matter if they are slotted/dimpled or not.

In saying that, he will have available for sale (or swap) the same rotors drilled with 4x100 and 5x114.3mm.
Perfect for someone with a cc coupe or gli sedan/proton etc with 4x100 and doing a conversion OR someone who is going 5 stud and looking for rotors!

EVO00X and Mikey im looking at you :p

Same brakes as me but sorry jamie, i need them on my car. Have got a spare set of custom brackets to fit them tho

When I did the GTO upgrade, I use the calliper (with bracket), to fit the 350z discs. This was also because I wanted to go 5 stud. But maybe you could try those as an option?

I used the roadsters discs. Specs were :
Diameter: 324
Thickness: 30
Bore Diameter: 68

If you went the standard 350z, its specs are:
Diameter: 322
Thickness: 22
Bore Diameter: 68

Although both are slightly off what you are looking for, maybe it could fit...

Same problem though...he wants 4 stud in 114.3 and isnt doing the 5 stud conversion..... yet :p

Will they be 276mm 5 stud front rotors?
314mm as posted above.

Can't you just re-drill to make multi stud? Or is it impossible?

Just do a full 5 stud conversion.. :)

Hey all, yea 5studs just another nut to take off to me, only reason I will do it is if I get the right size/ style im looking for, and the rotors I got have been drilled at an earlier stage in 4x100 and a 2nd redrill might be dangerous.?.? I dunno, not an engineer so I cant be sure,
and rock_it, is the bracket your using for the 350 discs, is that the same as the one you'd use with the gto discs or are the holes 5mm further out?
and duane, what size disc were the brackets made up for,

and 32mm thick discs, are they too thick?

Haha funny you say that jack, cos I have some 4x100 hubs but i cant bring myself to do it,
and I am tempted to push them out 7mm but I think I'll get some slotted dba rotors anyway, i only just put the old calipers back on an bled them up so ill have to wait now, got no more fluid, really should have dummy fitted before taking the old caliper off and I did think I should but presumed theyd be right and didnt bother, ahh well

also do I need to upgrade the booster or master?
to the people who have, what'd ya use?

Interested in mastercylinders too. I think yours is a 15/16. Evo had a 1", and magna too (please confirm they fit)
Andddd, 1 1/16" on pajero (this may be a rumor tho)

A bigger master will bring the braking point higher on the pedal, it also increases leg pressure for the same braking force. There is laws about leg pressures required.
I would find out what the donor vehicle size master is and use that size.

Made for 314mm, from memory, hasn't played around with it for a while cos its been off the road for so long

Evo 4-7 or something have a 1 1/16 and dont share the reservoir with the clutch, pretty sure I read that off georges post some where

cheers man, ill dummy fit them to this gsr im stripping an measure the space

Nah, wouldn't fit the GTO discs, as smaller than 350z ... Gen 1 GTO is 295 and Gen 2 is 313 .. Off memory ...

I originally had the Gen 1 callipers, and the gen 2 adapter.. So yeah, didn't work ... So found it easier to sell the gen 1 callipers, than to sell the adapter and start again...

Yeah sweet, thanks man, I had some doubts about the same bracket taking 10mm bigger discs, even going to 32mm thick I thought there'd be some sort of hassle

Yeah thats what I was thinkin, with new pads it might be a problem and besides I doubt ill need the extra 2mm, at the end of the day it is a daily driver
