Hey guys- has anyone spent anytime cruising the Murray on a houseboat?

Was thinking of getting one for a week for my 30th birthday!

I've been looking at THIS ONE


Has anyone had any experiences with any other houseboat companies?? Experiences?

dre we had the indulgence in august for about 4 days!
the thing was nuts! had a plasma downstairs and we set up decks next to the spa upstairs.
I suppose you just gotta have someone with ya thats good on boats!

Yeah nice one- were they sweet with you bringing decks on board etc? How long does it take to get to Mildura?


Ive driven boats before, and am fairly confident about captaining one- its just you need a sober driver I guess! :lol: Are there water police on the murray?

Im looking at the sheer indulgence- as I rekon its laid out a little better than the pure indulgence....

It works out to be fairly cheap- between 12 people over 7 nights, its only $53.60 each per night!

yep nsw waterways patrol the river... its a fair hike to mildura from melbs

Yeah they where cool with all that. we pretty much picked it up, moved it then loaded everything on. It takes between 5-6 hours to get up there. or 1 hour on the plane!

I think there is water police on the murray but not many around.. every time i have been haven't seen any! there are a few good fishing spots as well! we caught a few perch while there!

yeah once you get about 10 people on it its pretty cheap!
