Hey folks,

I have been enjoying the weather and my VR-4 lately very much so much so this has been my week:

Tuesday: Ballarat to Castlemaine : 174 Return via Daylesford/ hepburn spa, for the fun of it in the arvo perfect weather
Wednesday: Ballarat to Melbourne: 236 for work driveway to carpark in city 118k's loved the arvo drive back sunroof open.
Thursday: Ballarat to Melbourne to Berwick return : 320
Tomorrow feel like taking the day off and going to Sunbury:
Total so far: 730 k's and loving it.
I hope I don't curse myself now but really enjoying my car!

By the way BRETT26 is good bloke!nice meeting you today mate!

Monday - Generic cruising, late night tomfoolery involving some dodging of police cars.
Tuesday - Didn't see it, windows got tinted
Wednesday - Coilover install among other things
Thursday - Idle fixed
Friday - Hrm. No plans, YET. Late night cruising for sure.
Saturday - Late night designated driver
Sunday - erm....

In all, I think I'm loving it.

I wont write my week down, but i am loving driving my car. The tune needs to be sorted out and a few little things so just running 7psi gate pressure till i finished uni and had time and money.

But i love cruising around and listening to the 272 cams throbbing at the lights  and love the hard suspension.

So worth the time effort and every spare cent i have lol.

Sat - working on car
Sun - working on car
Mon - working on car
Tue - tow to springy motors
Wed - working on car
Thu - not working on car (woooo hooo!!)

Next week - hopefully tuned and ready for run in!

Coming week:

Today - work
Saturday - lawn mowing & groceries shopping
Sunday - take the dogs down to the beach
Monday - back to work
Tuesday - still work
Wednesday - work again
Thursday - work & late night shopping

Next week:
Same sh!t ...

and guess what, the poor little car is still sitting in the garage collecting dusts and cob webs ... got all the parts ... waiting $$$ for installation ... 6 months now I NEVER touched my car

Well I don't get to drive mine during the week... But during the weekend, I can't get my ass... Out of her...

I was thinking the other day, that I am enjoying the car more then the bike ATM.. Just love it....

Saturday - My brothers Wedding
Sunday - Garage
Monday - Garage
Tuesday - Garage
Wednesday - Garage
Thursday - Garage
Friday - Garage
Tomorrow - Garage
hmmmm.... notice a trend? lol

I have been driving the Evo every day this week, mainly due to the fact that the A/C compressor on the work ute said 'good night'... and it's been 40 degrees C for most part of the last fortnight.

Honestly, I am not really enjoying it - two weeks straight is enough for me with lowered coilovers, tyres with poor ride quality (Kumho KU36's) and -1.5 (front) and -3.0 camber (rear) on Adelaide's atrocious roads. Bouncing around inside the cabin like a wrecking ball and correcting the steering from tram lining isn't my idea of fun.

Ah, the joys of owning an Evo 6

i havent been driving mine for a week so far, and I'm missing it baaad!!!

But when it's back, in two weeks or so, it'll have a new front end :)

I spent yesterday underneath my car changing the oil and filter when it was 43 degrees outside, and changing my wastegate actuator to boost controller solenoid vacuum line. The vacuum line split allowing up to 1.7 bar of boost into the engine, also in 43 degree heat. The boost cut kinda sounds cool though. Enjoying (driving, not working on) my car once again!

What's not to love about driving an Evo? even if driving to work isn't far enough for it to warm up to running temp. :(

I must be getting old or moody or something but mine has been sitting in the garage for like 3 weeks for no other reason than I am happy sloshing about in my Jeep with its sweet leather seats and lazy mans auto.
Also yesterday I had a hire car little A3 turbo diesel, boaring but so comfy and quiet.

Will have to psych myself up to love her again!

I have to drive my EVO every day and i'm not really into it!

Looking for a new daily as we speak though
