How much should i have paid?

Bought an 89' Galant VR4 RS a couple of months ago. Just wanted to get feedback on what you guys would pay for one? No compliance 100,000Kms.

Cade, is it a facelift model?? I.E does it have 2 vents on the bonnet?

i know of one being sold with rego etc for $11900.00 (mods included)

non facelift model (3 bolt, no vents etc)

also a monte carlo was sold recently for around $12500.00 i believe
pretty much an rs with all the luxuries... (with rego and mods)

Nah. That's richard advertising the monte for 16k.

Arthur sold it for 11500 to richard. now richards trying to flog it off for 4k more than he paid.

the monte was originally advertised for something like 13k i think, it dropped in price due to somebody laying down a large deposit but pulled out of the sale..

That car was.... "average" at best .I used to drive past it every day. Was looking at it for a rally car to be honest. Doesn't it have a cage?

Yeah, had a roll cage, had to make it a 2 seater if i wanted to keep it in. I want to know if i should feel stupid for paying so much. What would you have said it was worth Entaran?

It -is- a genuine RS and if you look closely at the turbo,

KEEP THAT ROLL CAGE. REGISTER THE CAR AND PUT THE ******* BACK IN.

Cages make the car handle HEAPS better. (Or i'm sure dre will buy it from you).

The car was a little rough when I inspected it, wasn't idling properly etc. Maybe it's fixed?? (hence my lower estimate)...

Also the front shocks were leaking?

if it's a jap cage they're good for rigidity.. but wouldn't really rally with one

Na, i dont want/need one. I bought my car with a cage, it now live in bumpy's car.
