I Think if you really want to sell your vehicle, you'll need good Photos to go with it.

I think the only reason my HSG sold so quickly was because I had good pics, a very informative write-up of how the car was used, maintained and also the mods.
I think 7-8 is fair.

I've owned 3 RVR's, it's pretty obvious I would buy another RVR; I like them a lot.

Look, with that said, if you're trying to sell you need 3 things

Detailed service information
Detailed list of mods
Simple Photographs highlighting the car (I can tell you what angles to shoot as I used to work at carsales)

With that, get the car online in a few places, and hope for the best!

Its a buyers market mate, buyers have been dictating the prices lately.
Unless you get it out there then you'll have no chance.
You've also listed a few problems with the car in your original add, howbout some pics showing us the problems.
P.s. If you painted it pink, you would've had a better chance of selling :p

I just picked my Hyper gear up for $5400 with 6month reg. 130,000ks. It was filthy and need a full service and tune, but that was obviously a really good price.

Personally ive found them hard to sell because no one really knows about them.

On here you might find you get some more interested though... maybe boostcruising.com too

Compare yours to whats selling on carsales.com.au, i buy and sell cars all the time and its very slow going at the moment... Having owned 3 myself id say advertise at $6000 to get some interest and settle between $5-6k.

I sold my HSG Auto for $8700 only last fortnight. The money is still out there, it's a case of how you present the vehicle and how you maintain it. I never advertised it as a performance car as it wasn't.
Too many of the cars on there are advertised wrong, have bad photos and make it sound like it was owned by a hoon, and let's face it, 95% of the people on car sales aren't hoons, so they don't consider cars if a "hoon" description is given.

yeah i know what u mean matt i gotta present this car nicely... so im gonna wait for my kit next month and hopefully take some shots aswell and try to sell it
