How to change out the gearshifter bushes?

How do I change out the rubber OEM gearshifter bushes so I can install my MEEK ones?

Do you just cut the rubber ones out?

I pressed mine out mate. Don't know if it's exactly the same on an evo box but on the vr4 one just took the cables off and put a socket on the rubber, then pressed it straight through.

shayne, you can press the OEM ones out by hand, then install the Meek bushes. piece of cake!

you can press them out with your hands. well thats what i did anyway.

Just use long nose pliers and rip em out.

Thats how I did mine.

Done and done gents. Was "ezy-az" once I stopped being gentle with them and just ripped them out with the needle nose pliers.

Has anyone out there done a DIY on this yet?
