how to raise coilovers?

i have some tein coilovers on my car. i have managed to use the c spanner to unlock the first nut holding the springs up.. but i cant remove or adjust the top nut holding the springs..

has anyone raised/lowered a car with coilovers before? if so whats the easiest way? im possibly thinking about removing them off the car and just raising them when they havent got any tension on them.

spray some CRC/wd40/superlube on there

you're doing it the right way, but the threads have probably siezed up with dirt and dust

its gonna be stiff, loosen it first (going down) then take em back up...

put a breaker bar onto the tool to help you (if u have a big jack, use the handle off the jack)

+1. just be persistant.. might just need to be cracked too if there is no grease on the thread :?:

a few years ago i tried to adjust some teins that were stiff to move and i ended up snapping one of the adjuster rings, lots of crc and patience.
