Remember Baz is running a 2.3L. So the power curve is shifted ~ 500rpm to the left compared to a 2L.My experience.
Gt35r
.82: made 360kw on 24psi. Ran 10.9@135mph. Spooled well and was street drivable. not as good as a gt30r pn the street though but definitely made more top end.
1.06: never really got to push it. Spool was heaps later. No more "pshhhh" at idle and low rpm. Spool sound reduced. That was a far as i got. Sold the setup to Jack of all. He can tell you how it is. Should have made 400+ with the housing change i reckon.
Hurry up and get your car on the roadRemember Baz is running a 2.3L. So the power curve is shifted ~ 500rpm to the left compared to a 2L.
Most info i've read about gt35's in a .82 housing on a 2L says they make full bost ~30psi at 5000.
Where those power numbers on 98 pump fuel or E85 baz?I tried finding your thread with all the graphs but cant find it.
When did u strip 3rd on the dyno, wasnt that at around 330wkw? What was it stock VR4 box or running evo3 gears on 3rd and 4th through it?
Sorry for the hijack haha i was just tryin to find the threads you had on you setup with the gt35 recently
lol... honestly man the 0.82 rear on the 2 litre will be better for 4500-8500rpm than the 1.06 rear would be.Anyone else got any experience with the 1.06. I'm leaning towards going the big housing and revving it to 8500.evo-oox can u start building me another box
